How it All Started...
After college, Tannya worked for a non-profit for seven years organizing large scale community events and fundraisers. She felt a passion for event planning from this experience, but it wasn’t until shadowing a wedding planner that she knew she was in love with the beauty of planning weddings and making someone’s vision come to life. She immersed herself in learning about the wedding industry and began Simply Lovely Events in 2014.
Since then Simply Lovely Events has planned and coordinated over one hundred unforgettable events. Our clients give us the best gift of being able to tell their love stories through beautiful celebrations of love.
A little more about Tannya...
She is married to her sweet love Chris and they have two adorable kiddos together. Her kids inspire her daily to work hard, stay positive, and keep laughing. You can catch her on the beach dreaming and reading with an iced vanilla latte in her free time!

I believe in always giving back to the community and being an advocate for the voiceless.
I have a deep personal passion to play a part in ending modern-day slavery in our lifetime, and being a voice for the vulnerable.
As a company we make it a priority to contribute to organizations that are fighting to make this happen daily. A portion of all of our proceeds goes to charities and programs that are helping end modern-day slavery
and human trafficking.
